The solution can be downloaded to any mobile phone or tablet and turn it into a contactless payment terminal (SoftPOS), supporting the trend of moving away from dedicated hardware to using mobile multi-purpose devices for payment and other in-store tasks.ㅤThe Softpay solution is used both by merchants of any size, and help retailers, hospitality businesses and transportation companies changing the customer experience by serving customers and receive payment in the aisles, at the table or at home.ㅤSoftpay has defined a number of markets where Softpay wants to become one of the leading providers of SoftPOS solutions, and Germany is a key market. Softpay has already established a German Subsidiary and has agreements with large German partners and merchants, but we want to accelerate our business in Germany and are therefore looking for adding one more person to our German team.ㅤYou will be responsible for establishing relationships with and selling to large merchants within retail, hospitality and transportation/mobility partners and we expect that you already have a network within at least one of these verticals. You must be able to demonstrate excellent sales results from previous jobs in the payment industry. Your future roleSoftpay is selling its SoftPOS product through European payment partners and also directly to large merchants and your success is directly linked to your ability to significantly grow Softpay’s market share in Germany. You will report directly to the Country Manager for DACH who is based in Bavaria.ㅤYour key responsibilities in this role will beAccelerate sales by directly engaging with the top 1-200 merchants in Germany within:RetailHospitality Transportation/mobilityExpanding sales to merchants in the merchant portfolio you build upWorking with existing and new partners targeting the three merchant verticals What is Softpay looking for ?Softpay is a fairly young company started in 2020 but with highly experienced people in sales, product, and engineering. Softpay is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with documented sales results and a can-do attitude and with an existing network within at least one of the three targeted merchant verticals.ㅤQualifications needed to be successful in this roleAt least 5 years of experience – core sales, channel sales, industry, or solution selling in payments / financial services verticals with excellent sales results.A network in at least one of the three merchant verticalsExperience with in-store payment solutionsMotivated by engaging with customers and reaching own sales targets.Good relationship management and solution development skills.A reasonable level of technical proficiency.Experience in working in virtual teams across functions and geographies.Experience in communicating and presenting to large and small audiences in English and German (Native) You must be based in Germany, but you can work from anywhere in Germany.
