About The Position
The Key Account Manager acts as the primary commercial driver for the assigned customer portfolio. In this role, he/she proactively identifies and develops new business opportunities, ensures smooth daily collaboration with customers, and serves as the main interface for all commercial and operational topics. The position plays a key role in executing growth initiatives, implementing customer‑specific strategies, and maintaining strong, profitable business relationships throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Key member of the RV OEM LV Team in EMEA, responsible for an important customer group (yearly turnover with the customer is around 30 million Euro)
- Primary point of contact for all sales‑related activities within the defined sales area, with a hands‑on, proactive working style
- Acts as the first escalation point and coordinator for customer‑related topics in the defined sales area
- Builds strong operational business relationships at various levels within the customer organization.
- Conducts frequent customer visits throughout the defined sales area and supports selected international visits to represent the company where required
- Develop sales plans and marketing strategies, targeting high potential customers, to increase product sales and meet established sales goals
- Prepare and conduct negotiations for existing business and prices during the mass production phase
- Leads commercial negotiations for the defined sales with negotiations with the customer
- Responsible to create and coordinate the annual planning process (budget) for the customer for the defined sales area
- Obtain customer specifications, information, standards and relevant information from the customer to aid sales development
- Review and monitor the existing customer contracts on a regular basis
- Drives sales acquisition, opportunity development and customer strategy execution (Masterplan) with a strong hunter mindset, proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Contributes to competitor and market analysis.
- Continuously reviews and monitors sales performance for the defined sales area

A suitable background would be in terms of qualifications and experiences
- University degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent technical/commercial education
- 3-5 years of relevant B2B sales or KAM experience, ideally within the RV industry (non‑senior level)
- Proven ability to develop and expand accounts, ideally with first experience in growth‑oriented roles
- Technical affinity and ability to understand product‑related requirements.
- Experience with relevant IT tools
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Personal or professional experience in camping or outdoor activities is desired to align with the RV market
