As a Key Account Manager, you will play a strategic role in spreading and delivering accurate scientific information about our products, supporting high standards of clinical practice, and truly improving the therapeutic journey of patients.
Your key responsibilities:
• Clearly and scientifically presenting drugs in our portfolio, highlighting their therapeutic benefits in line with company strategy.
• Analyzing the dynamics of your territory and assigned accounts, understanding customer needs, and monitoring competitor activity.
• Developing, with the support of your manager, local action plans (Regional Account Plans) based on market data and aimed at increasing penetration of our treatments.
• Effectively using promotional and management tools, in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Ensuring the CRM and sales reporting are consistently updated.
• Actively participating in continuous training through company sessions and individual study to maintain a high level of scientific competence.
• Collaborating synergistically with the cross-functional team (MSL, Market Access, Tender), contributing to integrated territory and institutional stakeholder management.
• Operating in line with Accord’s values and Code of Ethics, fully respecting the applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
The Person:
•Valid driver license class “B”, willing to travel extensively
•Certified pharmaceutical sales representative or pharmaceutical consultant with demonstrable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in Specialty market
•In-depth knowledge of the German Originator Pharmaceutical market
•Familiar with the compliance standards of the industry
•Relevant skills in territory analysis and targeting, as well as management and analytical tools
•Skilled in Microsoft Excel, proficient in new Microsoft 365 environment
•Thorough understanding of all relevant legal frameworks
•Practical knowledge and experience with CRM systems
•Very good analytical/conceptual skills, structured and systematic working style
•Strategic thinking, innovative spirit, good organizational and time management skills and flexibility
•Strong communication and persuasion skills, strictly result oriented
•High level of self-motivation, ability to work under pressure and focus on results
•Strong customer focus with negotiation skills
•A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
