Job Description
- Manage and maintain WAN connectivity and hybrid network models.
- Work closely with solution architects to develop and design the network environment.
- Administer WAN Border Control and Separation Firewalls to enforce perimeter and internal segmentation policies.
- Operate and optimize Meraki-based network infrastructure.
- Support and maintain Local LAN environments, including switching, VLANs, and access control.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues escalated from L1/L2 teams.
- Monitor network performance using enterprise-grade tools and respond to anomalies.
- Lead network upgrade and migration projects across WAN, LAN, and firewall domains.
- Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols.
- Strong hands‑on experience with WAN, LAN, and firewall technologies.
- Familiarity with Meraki dashboard and cloud‑managed networking.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation.
- Experience with network security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex network architectures.
- Experience in cloud networking environments (preferably AWS, Azure).
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, and intercultural sensitivity.
- Profound knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art technology, trends, and paradigms of IT.
Preferred qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
- Knowledge in agile frameworks, ITSM processes, and DevOps (automation, infrastructure/configuration as code).
