Key Responsibilities

Deputy Group Leader – Sample Preparation & Measurement Technology (GC Methods)

For our Hamburg location, we are looking for a Laboratory Specialist (m/f/d) to operationally support the team in sample preparation and measurement technology for ICP methods.

Your Tasks

• Carrying out analyses using ICP-MS / ICP-OES
• Evaluation and documentation of results using standard evaluation systems
• Compliance with and implementation of requirements according to DIN EN ISO 17025
• Ensuring smooth laboratory operations through careful and precise working methods
• Participation in the optimization of processes and methods

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or completed vocational training in the chemical field with relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge in instrumental analysis (ICP-MS)
• Experience with Agilent evaluation systems
• Knowledge of quality management according to DIN EN ISO 17025 is an advantage
• Structured and precise working style in conducting and documenting resultsTeam spirit, organizational talent, and flexibility
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, as well as laboratory information and management systems (LIMS)
• Very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills (B2) in both spoken and written form are required
