Laboratory Technician - Adhesive Coatings (m/f/d)

Overview

As a Laboratory Technician – Adhesive Coatings, you will be an essential part of the adhesive development team, supporting polymer and formulation development from laboratory scale through to pilot plant implementation. In this hands-on role, you will independently plan and carry out experiments, generate reliable data, and contribute to the successful execution of development projects. Working closely with scientists, engineers, suppliers, and external partners, you will help translate formulation concepts into robust, testable adhesive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Active collaboration in polymer and formulation development projects with a focus on adhesive technologies
• Independent planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments in laboratory and pilot plant environments
• Independent testing and characterization of laboratory samples with regard to adhesive performance and polymer analysis
• Responsibility for defined sub-projects or work packages within development projects under technical supervision
• Independent documentation of experimental work and, where appropriate, presentation of results within project teams
• Support in the coordination of supplier interactions and development collaborations with external partners

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician, coatings laboratory technician, or CTA
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility
• Very good teamwork and communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
• High willingness to learn, combined with strong self-organization skills
• Digital affinity and confident use of MS Office 365 tools
• Good command of written and spoken English
