Laboratory Technician Renewable Carbon Materials (d/f/m)

What you´ll do

• Development of raw materials and formulations, by using especially biomass-derived chemicals suitable for adhesives, sealants and coatings
• Preparing and carrying out organic/polymer syntheses in the laboratory
• Planning, conducting, and documenting laboratory experiments with a pronounced “hands‑on” mentality
• Testing and analysing development (preliminary) products for various strategic business units
• Scale‑up and transfering of laboratory processes in close cooperation with all interfaces (e.g. production)
• Supporting technology transfers to various functions e.g. product development, application engineering and other customer facing teams

What makes you a good fit

• Minimum successful completed Bachelor degree in chemistry, material science, or a comparable field of study
• Around 5 years of working experience in the field of polymer/material science, and/or organic chemistry
• Interest in experimental work in a modern, application‑oriented research and development environment and the desire to implement your own ideas in new technical solutions
• Team‑oriented and communicative working style, including cross‑functional collaborations and teams
• Fluent in German, good English skills are desirable
