Your mission
At 1KOMMA5°, we are seeking an exceptional Lead AI Innovation & Adoption who combines deep technical expertise with sharp execution. You will identify high-impact AI use cases across our operational teams (e.g. Finance, People & Culture, Sales), independently build MVPs and roll out scalable solutions in close collaboration with the teams to deliver measurable business value. This role reports directly to the CTO and sets the foundation for how AI transforms the way we work beyond product and engineering.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across operational teams including Finance, People & Culture, Sales, Installation and Customer Care
Rethink and rebuild business processes from the ground up with an AI-native mindset while spotting immediate automation benefits others overlook
Build and ship MVPs using cutting-edge AI tooling or automation platforms fully independently, without relying on engineering support
Rigorously evaluate AI solutions and vendors and decide when to scale SaaS tools versus when to build proprietary capabilities
Own the full lifecycle of AI initiatives: from raw idea and fast validation to scalable roll-out and measurable business value
Lead the implementation of new AI-powered processes with speed, clarity, and precision ensuring stakeholder alignment, documentation and tangible business impact (e.g. efficiency gains, cost savings, quality improvements)
Partner with department heads to drive cross-functional AI adoption and act as a trusted advisor for process change
Act as a bridge between AI and the business explaining complex capabilities to non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations and securing buy-in at all levels
Equip teams with the skills to confidently use AI tools by offering everything from workshops to sharing best practices
Track adoption and impact of AI tools, report on business outcomes and continuously refine the internal AI roadmap

Your toolkit
You Should Be Comfortable With a Modern AI/automation Stack And Able To Independently Prototype Solutions. Depending On The Use Case, This May Include

Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, etc.)
LLM APIs (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic)
Prompt orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex)
Low-/no-code tools (e.g. n8n) and scripting (e.g. Python)
Automation & cloud platforms (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform, GCP)
Vector databases, RAG, and SaaS AI tools (e.g. Notion AI, Copilot, Supernormal)
Analytics tools (e.g. Looker) for measuring impact

Your profile
You Have

A deep technical foundation in AI, automation or applied machine learning paired with a proven track record of independently delivering impactful, real-world solutions
Demonstrated ability to independently architect and build robust AI-powered MVPs and evolve them into scalable solutions using modern tooling (e.g. LLM APIs, RAG, orchestration frameworks, low-code/no-code, Python)
Experience driving measurable business outcomes through AI in real-world operational settings (e.g. cost reduction, time savings, quality improvements)
The judgment to separate hype from value staying up to date with AI trends while choosing tools and solutions for their practical impact
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate AI capabilities into business value for non-technical stakeholders
Experience rethinking and rolling out business processes from fast prototyping to scaled adoption across multiple teams or locations
A high degree of self-direction, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with urgency and focus
Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is a strong plus
Experience in AI adoption across non-tech functions

Bonus Points For

Familiarity with compliance, data privacy or governance frameworks related to AI in Europe
Prior exposure to fast-scaling environments or distributed operational organizations
Interest in climate tech industry
