Lead Consultant - E-Invoicing/ EDI

We’re looking for a Lead Consultant, Business Analysis to drive e‑invoicing, e‑reporting, and EDI solutions for our clients. In this role, you’ll turn complex business requirements into technical specifications and mappings, lead high‑performing teams, and ensure top‑quality deliverables that make an impact. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, OpenText project managers, and global teams to deliver seamless solutions.

You Will

• Advise clients on complex mapping, e‑invoicing/e‑reporting needs, and EDI best practices.
• Translate business processes into technical specifications and documentation.
• Lead analyst and mapping teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Resolve non‑standard issues independently.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to define implementation and functional requirements.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Support testing cycles and escalate issues when needed.
• Provide regular status updates.

What You Bring

• Knowledge of European e‑invoicing/e‑reporting mandates (other regions a plus).
• Familiarity with standards such as EN16931, PEPPOL, UBL.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, X12, VDA, XML) and B2B integration.
• Expertise in EDI mapping and map specification creation.
• Experience with data translation/mapping tools (XML, EDI, X12, IDoc, flat files).
• Consulting experience and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong prioritization and project delivery capabilities.
• Experience supporting sales cycles.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
