Responsibilities

• Consult clients in transforming their ERP landscape with focus on SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) – primarily with SAP S/4HANA.


• Lead work packages across project phases of SAP (S/4HANA) implementation projects or application management – including concept, customising, migration, functional and integration testing, training, production support, and 2nd‑level support.


• Lead functional teams for the described work packages throughout project phases.


• Play a central role in generating and securing new business.


• Contribute to bid teams for proposal creation and quality assurance.


• Assume (partial) project leadership.


• Support junior team members in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM).

Qualifications

• Completed degree in business administration, (information) technology, mathematics, or equivalent training.


• At least seven years of relevant experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions in the public sector finance (FI/PSM/PSCD), with client responsibility and project team leadership.


• Strong consulting and project steering experience.


• Methodical skills in traditional and agile project environments.


• Deep understanding of system integration and customising of SAP PSM, including budget and funding management.


• Long‑term involvement in S/4HANA implementation or application management projects in the public sector.


• Experience leading or managing projects or sub‑projects.


• Knowledge of public administration bookkeeping and processes.


• Experience with SAP PSM, adjacent modules (FI/CO), and SAP Fiori (UI5).


• Market and competitiveness knowledge and grasp of latest SAP technologies (SAP HANA, cloud solutions, etc.).


• Ability to recognise and capture cross‑selling opportunities.


• Enjoyment of external consulting with willingness to travel 50‑75 % within Germany.


• Excellent German and English proficiency (CEF Level C1/B2).

This position is also available part‑time.
