As a Lead Data Engineer, you will architect and lead the development of enterprise‑scale data infrastructure. You will guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, scalable data solutions.

Tasks

• Architect and lead the development of robust data pipelines, ETL systems, and data warehouses
• Write and review high‑quality code in Python and SQL
• Manage and optimize infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Lead the implementation of data orchestration using Airflow or DBT
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to align data strategy with business goals
• Drive adoption of best practices in data architecture, performance tuning, and automation
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of technical excellence

Professional Requirements and Expertise

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Deep expertise in data warehousing, Python, SQL, ETL/data pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Strong experience with Airflow or DBT for orchestration

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Docker, serverless technologies, data architecture, Spark, NoSQL, and CI/CD
