Location and Department

Munich, Bavaria, Germany – Huawei Munich Research Center. The Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies in multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Guide all the design process, from sketch phase to 3D modeling and clay modelling, through to A-class surfaces.
• Maintain a high level of flexibility to work on the overall design process, from styling proposals to detail solutions.
• Work closely together with studio engineering to identify solutions that can be brought to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Product or Transportation Design.
• 10+ years of experience in Design, preferably at an international premium brand.
• Ability to coordinate and lead the team to successfully complete projects.
• Experience with production and advanced design software, along with a strong track record of industry‑recognized work.
• Ability to deliver under tight time conditions.
• Passionate about product design with a creative, innovative approach and in‑depth understanding of company culture.
• Express a high level of creativity through hand drawing as well as Photoshop sketches, 3D modelling and 3D renderings.
• Proficiency using software such as PowerPoint, Photoshop, Alias, Blender, Vred, Keyshot, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion.
• Able to work as part of an international team, proactive and self‑motivated.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus.
