Lead Exterior Designer

Responsibilities

• According to the company's brand and product planning, coordinate with relevant departments to define the definition objectives of CDC departments. According to the above, formulate interior creative development strategy and promote implementation.
• According to the company's brand and product planning, carry out interior design trend analysis, target group analysis to study and implement the family planning of the interior design. Write and implement the CCC parts strategy of interior/exterior
• Based on interior/exterior design and development strategy, and according to the product development process. Responsible for the interior design creative, development and management of various series of the company products (Concept car, new production car, facelift and model year car, component design).
• According to the theme renderings, coordinate with relevant departments of the design center, responsible for the design quality control of the corresponding design scheme in the physical model and digital model stage.
• Responsible for the construction of the development process system of the interior vehicle and key parts, and establish the cooperation mechanism with relevant departments.
• Responsible for the design of interior creative design guidelines and technical documents, formulate the medium and long term planning, and ensure the normal and efficient operation and continuous improvement of the interior creative design work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above
• Major: automotive design, industrial design and other related fields.
• Skills requirements: highly creative with good 3D understanding and top sketches/photoshop skills
• strong creative ability of hand-painted, good communication skills and team spirit
• Experience using AI tools to support research, ideation, visualization, and design optimization
