Lead Frontend Developer

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced Frontend Lead Developer for a leading fashion client of ours based in Munich.

This role will allow Hybrid remote working, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.

Your role:

• You will lead and support a team of three front-end developers by supporting them with technical decisions and best practices.
• You conduct code reviews, practice pair programming, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• You plan and monitor the frontend architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement the technical roadmap for the frontend.
• You will develop high-quality JavaScript code with Vue.js and design modern frontends to keep our software up to date and create a seamless user experience
• You connect the frontend with our serverless AWS backend and integrate modern headless architectures for maximum flexibility and scalability
• Work with our UX designer to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
• You continuously optimize the deployment process to ensure fast, reliable, and scalable releases of our software through automated workflows.
• You will work in an agile environment with a culture of error, structured Kanban flow, and regular feedback and retrospective formats for continuous improvement.
• You will develop and maintain our central design system based on Storybook to ensure consistent and reusable UI components across all applications and platforms.
• You foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.

Your profile:

• You have a great passion for software development and user experience, as well as leadership skills and initiative.
• You have completed a degree in computer science or a related field.
• You have 5+ years experience working as a Frontend Developer with previous experience leading other Developers
• You have solid experience with JavaScript and Vue.js as well as knowledge of scaling and connecting frontend and backend.
• You are characterized by your ability to communicate complex issues clearly and your pragmatic approach to work.
• You are proficient in using Git, pull requests, code reviews, and pair programming and love clean code.
• Working together in a team and supporting your colleagues are a given for you.
• You have API knowledge and experience with headless applications to connect the frontend with our backend services.
• You are a team player with strong social skills and enjoy communicating in a targeted manner.
• You are fluent in German and English.
