What can you expect?

• Teamlead: You have the responsibility for a team with IoT Software Engineers
• Design and Development: Together with your team you will design and develop software for IoT devices, maintain backend systems to process events from IoT devices, and implement security protocols to protect IoT devices and systems
• Analysis and Improvement: In addition to debugging and troubleshooting software issues, you will continuously evaluate and improve software performance by identifying potential problems and proposing appropriate solutions
• Ensuring Quality: You create and maintain documentation for software and systems and perform monitoring and maintenance of IoT systems to ensure high availability and scalability
• Stakeholder Management: The collaboration between software engineers and other stakeholders is part of your responsibility to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of IoT applications

What should you bring along?

• Your background: You have experience in product engineering or R&D and technical leadership or people management experience
• Your expertise: You are proficient in Python and add that with knowledge over Bash scripting and C/C++
• You are comfortable working with the Linux command line and using GNU tools to check the quality of code while hiring engineers
• Your Understanding: You understand the main networking concepts (TCP, UDP, DNS, routing, firewalling, NAT) and the main security concepts
• Language Skills: You have strong written and spoken English skills (level C1 on the CEFR scale)
