Lead Product Designer

(All genders) We are looking for a full-time, permanent Lead Product Designer to join our remote-first company within Germany. You may choose to work hybrid or fully on-site if you live near one of our locations.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Product Designer, you will:

Develop a consistent, intuitive, and thoughtfully crafted user experience across all our products.
Create and maintain our UX/UI framework, definition of design principles, interaction patterns, and design system that supports customer interfaces, APIs, self‑service flows, documentation, and onboarding journeys.
Reduce complexity by turning technical offerings into clear, understandable user experiences.
Analyse existing journeys, identify friction points, articulate precise UX principles, and create reusable concepts for development implementation.
Establish standards that enable faster, more efficient, and consistent work.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ground decisions in strong UX fundamentals and deliver real value.
Influence key metrics such as NPS, NRR, support volume, and developer experience.

Qualifications

Several years of experience as a UX or product designer in complex digital products.
Proven experience in setting up or introducing design systems/component libraries.
Strong conceptual thinking skills and ability to simplify complex relationships.
Confident use of common UX tools such as Figma, prototyping, user flows, design tokens, etc.
Ability to question requirements, define principles, and justify decisions clearly.
High degree of personal responsibility, structured approach, and ownership mentality.
Very good English skills.
