Lead Project Cost Controller – HVDC

We are looking for an experienced Lead Project Cost Controller to support Project Controls leadership in delivering a complex HVDC program on time and within budget. You’ll work at the core of a global HVDC project controls team and own both Scheduling and Cost Controlling for the HVDC scope.

What You Will Lead

Project Scheduling

• Build and maintain a single integrated project schedule across all functions and external partners (Primavera)
• Ensure all interdependencies are clearly linked, commitments are signed off, and risks are transparent
• Run a strong operating rhythm on schedule reviews, look-aheads, backlog, and late reporting.
• Deliver regular project and customer-facing schedule reports

Cost Controlling

• Manage all project costs using global standard tools & processes.
• Continuously analyse schedule, scope evolution, productivity, and functional performance to identify cost risks & opportunities
• Lead budget deviation processes, develop cost forecasts, and challenge estimates
• Communicate cost status clearly to functional owners; drive mitigation actions
• Support change order analysis, claim preparation, and ensure alignment with Finance for reconciliation & revenue forecasting

• Develop deep expertise in complex megaproject execution, scenario modelling, risk mitigation, and global best‑practice project controls
