Head of Electrical Site Operations

Job Location: Germany - Mannheim

The opportunity

As our Head of Electrical Site Operations, you’ll be the driving force behind the planning, coordination, and success of our electrical construction sites throughout Germany. You’ll guide a talented team, set industry standards, and ensure every project runs smoothly and safely.

What you will do….

• Develop and roll out standardized site management processes, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
• Act as the appointed Electrical Specialist (“Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft” per DIN VDE ) for all our German sites, working hand-in-hand with our safety officer—from conducting risk assessments to leading safety walks during your site visits.
• Manage and support a dedicated team of 11 site managers, including regular check-ins and documentation of team discussions.
• Support our business development efforts by assisting with project acquisition, preparing competitive offers, and negotiating contracts.
• Take part in key management and client meetings, sometimes even on an international stage.

What we are looking for...

• You’ve completed formal training as a master craftsman (IHK or HWK), state-certified technician, or hold a degree (Bachelor, Master, or Engineer) in electrical engineering.
• You bring at least 10 years’ hands‑on experience in electrical engineering construction site management, including leading teams.
• You’re up‑to‑date with German occupational health and safety regulations and know how to apply them in practice.
• You have a proven track record of streamlining processes and setting up efficient, standardized systems.
• You approach challenges with a structured, analytical mindset.
• You’re willing to travel regularly within Germany to ensure project excellence.
• You speak German at a native level and English at C1 level.
