We are looking for a skilled Lead Test Engineer with a combination of skills of Driver and Test Engineer, with a clear understanding of SDLC and testing theory. The candidate will join our team on an IVI automotive project on‑site, performing field testing using a pre‑production prototype car with a new‑generation IVI system.

Requirements

Driver license of category B
5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer
Automotive experience of at least 3 years
Field testing experience
Proven proficiency in the creation of test reports and defects
Solid experience in test case creation
Understanding of SDLC and testing theory
Very good communication skills in English
Flexibility in working schedule; shifted working hours are expected, beginning after 14:00

Prototype driver's license
High Voltage training

Responsibilities

Leading a team of 3-6 Test Engineers
Planning a working day & task distribution
Control proper execution of tasks
Create weekly reports
Ensure the quality of provided services
Take part in the interview process
Ramp up new teammates
Communicate & build relationships with project stakeholders
Attending daily briefings before test drives
Uploading updated software to the test car
Perform daily/evening static or dynamic test drives
Perform weekend static or dynamic test drives by additional customer request
Execute test plans/test suites
Record traces and provide proper time markers for defect analysis
Produce test reports/test summary reports after test drives
Create defect reports directly after a test drive in internal BTS or customer KPM system
Develop test cases/suites/plans for testing needs
Support the engineering team by testing dev‑drops
Provide immediate feedback or rectifications to the Tickets Coordinator, FO, Program Lead, etc.
Collaborate with a car manufacturer or IVI system development team
