Requirements

• PhD or PhD candidate
• Prior teaching experience in higher education at university level
• Very good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams
• Scientific publications in a related discipline
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of German is desirable
• Knowledge of Educational Platforms (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
• Working knowledge of timetabling software
• Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules
• Advanced skills in animation and digital art software, including TVPaint, Moho, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Sounds in Animation
• Understanding of animation principles, workflows, and pipelines
• Experience in game design and UI/UX design is a plus

Your Responsibilities

Position

• Teaching assigned modules according to the curriculum
• Administering, proctoring, and grading assignments and exams
• Designing or updating curricula and syllabi as needed
• Supervising dissertations and providing student mentorship
• Creating assignment briefs and exam papers
• Providing feedback and study skills coaching
• Private instruction for students if required
• Assessing student progress and scheduling tutoring sessions
• Monitoring and organizing the tutoring environment
• Participating in professional development
• Effective communication with students and maintaining confidentiality
• Developing lesson plans and teaching materials
• Researching and recommending learning resources
• Reporting on student progress
• Developing intervention strategies and IEPs
• Handling administrative tasks related to teaching
• Promoting the school and supporting students' academic development
