To strengthen our School of Arts, Information and Media, we are currently looking for lecturers f/m/d on an honorary basis in the field of Natural Language Processing for the Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence course.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, tutorials, and labs in NLP and related topics
• Design and update course materials to reflect current trends in deep learning, large language models, and NLP applications
• Supervise student projects and theses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Conduct and publish research in NLP and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects
• Support academic administration tasks, such as curriculum development, student mentoring, and accreditation processes
• Engage with industry partners and contribute to third-party funded research projects

Your Profile

• A Master's or Ph.D (or nearing completion) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in Natural Language Processing, with a strong publication record
• Teaching experience at university level, preferably in English
• Proficiency in Python and modern NLP libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK)
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms or MLOps for NLP workflows
