The Opportunity: Join the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW. There is an opportunity for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in an education focussed role. You will develop new teaching methodologies and deliver outstanding teaching and student experiences that lead to better graduates. As a Course Authority, you’ll oversee course administration and uphold academic standards. You’ll maintain professional development and support students and colleagues through mentoring and supervision of thesis and research projects, helping to shape future educators and researchers.
This role is based in Australia. The purpose of this EF role is to enable academics to specialise in Electrical Engineering education. You will devote your time to delivering high-quality teaching and pursuing initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students. Those appointed to this specialisation are expected to drive educational excellence and pedagogy development within the university’s teaching and learning communities. The UNSW School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications is one of the largest and most prestigious schools of its kind in Australia.
