Join the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in a teaching and research role. As a Lecturer (Level B) you will develop scholarly research and professional activities both nationally and internationally, while contributing to the teaching and service missions of the School and Faculty. As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), in addition to these opportunities you will establish an internationally recognised research program in your field, play a key role in maintaining industry partnerships, and foster collaborations that drive impactful research and innovative advancements in thermo‑mechanical engineering.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven research background and strong educational experience in robotics engineering and energy systems. Suitable candidates will have experimental expertise in medical robotics, assistive technologies such as exoskeletons, robotic manufacturing, service robots, and autonomous systems—including drones, vehicles, and maritime vessels.
