You are the vital bridge between legal expertise and IT innovation within the Legal Operations Team. You drive the standardization and optimization of legal processes, lay the foundation for the successful adoption of artificial intelligence, and orchestrate both the introduction of new and harmonization of existing Legal Tech tools. Join our international IT Compliance department at ALDI DX and contribute to impactful global projects at the intersection of law and technology.

Your Job

What This Role Looks Like.

Analyze, document, model (using BPMN, e.g. SAP Signavio), and unify processes related to legal and compliance to enhance efficiency and clarity.
Lead the implementation and integration of advanced Legal Tech solutions and optimize the existing IT system landscape to support legal functions seamlessly.
Act as the interface between IT and various business units such as Legal, Data Protection, Compliance, Risk Management, and Contract Management.
Collaborate across departments to identify and drive continuous improvements in workflows and technology usage.
Support the foundation for AI adoption by preparing and standardizing data and processes for automation and machine learning applications.

Your Profile

What You Bring With You.

Degree in business law (LL.B. / LL.M.) or comparable qualification with proven experience in Legal Operations, Legal Engineering, or Project Management within law firms, corporate legal departments, or comparable environments.
Strong IT affinity, AI literacy, and a thorough understanding of legal operations and workflows.
Proactive mindset with creativity, hands‑on approach, and ability to work effectively in teams.
Practical experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, and Confluence.
Excellent command of English and basic German language skills.

Desirable Extras.

Hands‑on knowledge of applications like M365 (Power Platform), UI Path (RPA) or specific Legal Tech tools (e.g. Contract Management, eSignature, eBilling, or similar).
Experience with process modeling and documentation using BPMN in SAP Signavio.
Understanding of AI implementation prerequisites including process harmonization and data preparation for successful deployment in legal contexts.
