Student One Causal Networks Pvt Ltd is a deterministic, HPC-driven statistical-arbitrage laboratory building a new category of institutional-grade financial products.

Our frameworks use enumerative mathematics, and deliver compliance-first statistical artifacts for global desks.

We are expanding our regulatory and product-advisory layer and are seeking a strategic legal partner, not a traditional counsel.

This is NOT a conventional legal job.

This is a category-building role in a frontier fintech company.

Responsibilities

• Study our compliance white papers, policy stack, and physics-inspired taxonomy.
• Understand the structure of quant funds, hedge funds, HFT desks, prop desks, and institutional workflows.
• Help position Student One within global regulatory expectations.
• Provide product-level guidance, not contract drafting.
• Participate in shaping a new regulatory class for deterministic statistical products.

5. You are willing to operate in a founder-level advisory capacity, not a consultant-for-hire role.

Compensation

This role operates under a three-part compensation structure standard in frontier deep-tech startups:

• Equity with vesting (12–18 months)
• Deferred compensation activated upon revenue milestones
• Capped profit-participation from the compliance vertical

We do not offer a cash retainer at this stage.
