What you'll do

  • You will work closely with the team to ensure software compliance within the Knauf Group, optimizing our license portfolio, reducing complexity, and increasing cost efficiency.
  • Utilize our software asset management tool to detect utilized software and provide detailed reports on license usage, costs, and compliance status.
  • Define, operate, and continuously improve the approval/listing process for new desktop software, including reporting on process efficiency with clear indicators.
  • Administration of software licenses contracts management, the monitoring of its durations and the adjusting to meet current needs and requirements.

Who you are

  • You hold a degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field, with extensive experience in Software Asset Management being highly desirable.
  • In‑depth knowledge of software license agreements and proficient use of industry‑standard license management tools such as Flexera and SNOW.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proven experience in conducting software and license audits.
  • A robust technical understanding coupled with a strong interest in economic contexts, enabling you to navigate complex technical environments effectively.
  • Highly organized, team‑oriented, and service‑minded with outstanding communication skills and intercultural sensitivity — fluency in German and excellent English proficiency are essential.
