Lighting and Shading Artist Unreal (all genders)

We are looking for a full-time Lighting and Shading Artist with expertise in the Unreal Engine (all genders)to join our growing team in Munich.
You are not only characterized by an excellent eye for details but also by your profound technical knowledge of Epic`s Unreal Engine. Experience as a photographer or DOP is a plus. If you are also proficient with complex CGI pipelines and working independently in a structured way, we would love to meet you. Please attach your current showreel / portfolio to your application.

What you can expect:

• You will work on challenging projects for premium clients, delivering the highest standards of visual quality and aesthetics
• You will develop, manage, and optimize 3D assets in Unreal Engine for high-quality stills and cinematics while meeting real-time performance requirements
• You will set up and fine-tune shaders and lighting configurations in Unreal Engine to ensure optimal performance and outstanding visual results
• You will take responsibility for the highest visual and technical quality of your assets, aligning them with the Art Director’s vision
• You will collaborate with our development team to continuously enhance our CG pipeline and workflows
• You will work closely with a growing and highly motivated team of CG artists to achieve project goals

What we expect from you:

• You have at least 4 years of production experience, ideally in automotive visualization using Unreal Engine
• You have proven experience as a lighting and shading artist working with Unreal Engine , and tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, or VRay
• You have experience in developing PBR materials within Unreal Engine
• You are familiar with complex CGI pipelines and workflows
• You have a deep passion for creating high-quality visualizations and automotive projects
• You work independently, with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
• You have strong organizational skills and excellent time management, allowing you to prioritize tasks effectively
• Very good English skills (spoken and written) and very good German skills
• Understanding and competence in digital infrastructures, as well as website rollout, maintenance, support and informations security
