LIMS Consultant for Master Data Management (MDM)

1. from home
2. on our customer’s premises
3. occasionally in Basel

Background: The LIMS Consultant for Master Data Management will be in charge of the development of MDM concepts, building, migrating, creating, and modifying LIMS master data.

Your Area of Responsibilities:

1. Development of MDM concepts
2. Migrate Master Data of variable complexity from legacy LIMS to the global solution
3. Generate and modify Master Data of varying technical complexity
4. Configure Master Data parameters for dissimilar instrument interfaces
5. Support in updating LIMS and corresponding departmental SOP and work instructions as required
6. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure effective results

Your Experience & Qualifications:

1. University degree in computer science, chemistry, or biology, or an equivalent education
2. 3-5 years of experience in laboratory/software application is mandatory
3. Experience working within the life science sector
4. Hands-on QC expertise
5. Skilled in LabWare LIMS or similar
6. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving as well as detail-oriented skills
7. Highly developed interpersonal skills and capable of collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and team members
8. Fluent in English (writing and speaking); German and/or French is a plus
