The Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Logistics and Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) to manage the operational processes of our warehouse and material handling in our growing company. You will be responsible for efficiently managing the entire material flow – from goods receipt and order picking to dispatch, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
In this role, you will work closely with Production, Purchasing, and external transport service providers to ensure high material availability, process quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage inventory in SAP, oversee goods receipt, order picking, and ensure that all logistical tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with internal and legal requirements.
Your Responsibilities
• Manage inventory in SAP and oversee goods receipt, order picking, and goods issue
• Coordinate logistics processes from goods receipt to dispatch, working closely with external transport service providers
• Ensure material availability for production and support work preparation
• Conduct inventory checks and regular stock audits to ensure warehouse accuracy
• Verify incoming goods in collaboration with Purchasing and ensure fast resolution of complaints and returns
• Manage hazardous materials and defense products, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process optimizations to increase efficiency in warehouse logistics
• Support transport coordination and collaboration with external logistics partners
• Ensure proper documentation and management of warehouse inventory
Your Profile
Degree or vocational training in Logistics, Material Management, Supply Chain, or a related field Several years of experience in warehouse logistics and inventory management, ideally with experience in transport management and hazardous goods Strong knowledge of SAP (MM/WM) and experience with Transport Management Systems Hands-on mentality and passion for operational tasks such as order picking and inventory management Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal departments and external partners German proficiency at C1 level, English proficiency at B2 level or higher Tool Stack (experience preferred)
SAP (PP / MM) Transport Management Systems (TMS) Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency) ERP systems and inventory management systems Collaboration and project management tools (e.g., MS Teams, Jira Benefits and Perks
