Responsibilities

• Establish a practical M365 governance framework (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Power Platform) covering lifecycle, naming, permissions, roles and responsibilities to provide clear guidelines and reduce shadow‑IT.
• Implement Microsoft Purview for DLP, Sensitivity Labels, eDiscovery, Retention/Records, ensuring daily‑operational policies that measurably reduce risks.
• Support internal and external audits, prepare evidence, and guarantee audit‑readiness of the M365 environment.
• Build key metrics and reports on compliance status, policy violations and risks, and drive concrete improvements.
• Educate and advise IT and leadership on governance and compliance requirements in M365 in a practical way.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in M365/Governance/Compliance or IT‑security, with strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Purview (DLP, Labels, eDiscovery, Retention/Records).
• In‑depth knowledge of GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001 (ideally BSI recommendations).
• Project and change management experience, with clear and structured communication skills.
• Excellent German language skills and good English communication ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills, structured and solution‑oriented work style.
