Atmantara builds foundational AI infrastructure for financial institutions. From real-time fraud detection to multi-model portfolio optimization, we empower financial teams with scalable, secure, and compliant AI capabilities, without the engineering overhead. Our platform supports cloud-native and hybrid deployments with built-in observability, role-based access, and regulatory-grade compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, PSD2, MiFID II).

We're a high-velocity team based in Berlin and remote, working at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and fintech.

Role

You'll own model development pipelines, from data processing to deployment, across fraud detection, portfolio scoring, and optimization.

You'll work in tandem with infra and product to continuously improve real-world model outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and train ML models with structured financial datasets
• Integrate and deploy models using Atmantara's hybrid inference platform
• Conduct model testing, ablation, and explainability workflows
• Collaborate with infra to meet latency and compliance SLAs
• Evaluate model drift and lead retraining strategies

Requirements

• Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Experience with end-to-end ML pipelines in production
• Understanding of model fairness, explainability, and compliance
• Experience with versioning tools and model packaging

Bonus Experience

• Deployed models in financial services, fintech, or regulated sectors
• Built models for fraud detection, credit scoring, or optimization
• Experience with MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar tools
