Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to design, build, and deploy data-driven products using modern machine learning methods.
• Implement and operationalize ML models on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and ensure reliable integration into production environments.
• Maintain smooth operations across systems, with continuous improvements in quality, scalability, performance, and security.
• Define and implement best practices in MLOps, optimize existing applications, and introduce new tools and methods to enhance the ML infrastructure.
• Work closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to support the complete lifecycle of ML models—from conception and development to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in software engineering and development.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL, particularly in data engineering and high-performance data applications.

Practical experience with cloud services (preferably GCP), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.

Comprehensive understanding of MLOps principles and experience managing models throughout their lifecycle.

Strong analytical abilities, structured working style, and proactive approach to problem solving.

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
