Job Description
Moving mountains together – as Maintenance Manager (all genders) you are responsible for the technical availability of manufacturing, packaging and logistics equipment. You will develop strategies and execute a maintenance program that complies with applicable policies and procedures.
Your main responsibilities
- Evaluation and optimization of equipment, technical standards and manufacturing processes
- Develop strategies and execute a global Maintenance Excellence Program
- Manage multiple, often concurrent site projects/programs
- Support site project/program strategy to align and achieve key customer business objectives
- Anticipate trends and business needs and prioritize accordingly
- Develop departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities
- Control resources and policy formation in the area of responsibility
- Plan, monitor and control investment budgets
- Provide leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline preferred; or equivalent technical experience with demonstrated expertise and 8+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience
- Hands‑on experience with telemetry technology integration
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across cultures and within complex matrix environments internationally
- Several years of management experience, including direct team leadership and high‑performing team development
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills with a solution‑driven mindset and excellent problem‑solving abilities
- German and English business fluent
- Ability to work independently, proactively prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs and regulatory developments
- Success in negotiating, influencing, and reconciling differences while driving organizational objectives
