Maintenance Scheduler

The Maintenance Scheduler will play a pivotal role in ensuring that maintenance and calibration are carried out timely in accordance with the calibration and maintenance procedures and that the schedules are adhered to. Responsibilities include briefing personnel on upcoming calibration and maintenance appointments, coordinating and planning installations, contacting service providers, creating permit slips in cooperation with plant engineers, disconnecting and reconnecting safety devices (LOTO fire alarm system), performing minor maintenance and repairs, and participating in maintenance duty on call during production phases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that maintenance and calibration are carried out on time in accordance with the calibration and maintenance procedures and that schedules are adhered to.
• Coordinate and plan calibration and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with calibration inspection deadlines.
• Initiate recalibration of measuring instruments.
• Prepare for calibrations.
• Document maintenance plans and reports in the Maximo system.
• Inform the appropriate personnel about upcoming calibration and maintenance appointments.
• Contact calibration and maintenance service providers, obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure proper documentation of schedules.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

• Training as a mechanic or electrician.
• Master technician/technician qualification with at least 5 years of experience (or 10 years in operational support) in maintenance inspection & repair.
• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience with handling GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.

Special Knowledge

• Maximo handling and scheduling.
• Procurement in K System.
