As a multi-skilled technician at Univercell, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our technical equipment and building infrastructure. Your work plays a vital role in ensuring the operational safety, availability, and efficiency of our machines, systems, and facility infrastructure.

UniverCell produces electrodes and cells based on lithium-ion technology for batteries in Germany. With everything we do, we make sustainable energy usable and develop highest-quality energy storage systems with innovative technology and maximum performance. Our products are used in aerospace, medical products and other areas where the highest quality and performance are required.

Your Responsibilities

• Mechanical Tasks: Maintenance, repair, and optimization of machinery and building systems
• Inspection activities and documentation

• Supportive & Project-Based Tasks: Construction or modification of equipment and operating tools (e.g. auxiliary devices, jigs/fixtures)
• Participation in optimization projects across various departments
• Support with site expansions, new installations, and commissioning of machinery and equipment
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and root cause analysis of technical issues
• Documentation of all maintenance, repair, and optimization activities
• Compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Contribution to continuous improvement processes (CIP)

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a skilled trade or relevant professional experience
• Electrical qualification is an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong technical understanding and hands-on skills
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
• Team player with flexibility
• Strong sense of responsibility regarding occupational safety and quality
• Class B driver’s license required
• Forklift, crane, or aerial work platform certification is a plus
