Manager – Business Systems & Process Integration (m/f/d)

Location: Near Regensburg, Germany (Hybrid – 4 days on-site)

We’re partnering with a global industrial group that is modernising its core business and finance systems across Europe. They are looking for an experienced SAP-oriented leader who can take ownership of their business‑critical systems supporting Finance, Sales, and Procurement – managing both people and processes while preparing for future digital transformation.

This is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned SAP Applications or IT Team Lead who’s ready to step up into a broader, strategic leadership role.

The Opportunity

Lead and develop a team of around 25 IT and process professionals responsible for the company’s ERP and related business systems (5–6 direct reports).
Oversee system operations, enhancements, and roadmap planning across Finance, Procurement, and Sales.
Collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Procurement) to align system improvements with business needs.
Drive end-to-end process optimisation (Lead‑to‑Cash, Source‑to‑Pay, Record‑to‑Report).
Manage project budgets (~€1–2 M) and ensure delivery of system and process improvement initiatives.
Play a key role in preparing the organisation for an upcoming SAP S/4HANA transformation .

Your Profile

Strong background in SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) or CRM environments, ideally with end‑to‑end process exposure.
Proven experience leading small to mid‑sized teams in an application management or business systems function.
Solid understanding of finance, sales, and procurement processes.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional and international teams.
Ambition to move from senior management into a Director‑level role.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred.
Fluent English, with conversational German (B1/B2) a strong plus.
