Manager, Europe Financial Closing

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for all balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare, analyze, and verify the accuracy of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L)
• Support the Business and IT on systems implementations / solutions
• Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff to ensure professional development and performance
• Support of local regulatory financial reporting requirements
• Partner with external auditors to ensure full compliance and signoff of financial statements and government filings
• Manage intercompany billing, settlements, and reconciliations for multi-entity organizations
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline manual accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ad hoc analysis and response to business requests

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent
• 7+ years finance/accounting experience
