You will be the strategic advisor to important partners across our Germany business to ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions while improving the experience for all of our marketplace participants. You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, and will guide financial insights and direction for all of our operational decisions and strategies. You will report to the Director, Finance & Strategy. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office in Berlin and some time remote. What You’ll Be Doing Own the P&L, with a deep understanding of the key drivers to strategically balance growth and profitabilityLead weekly financial reporting and forecasting, as well as quarterly planning, acting as the go-to expert on business performanceIdentify and evaluate key risks and opportunities, build business cases and investment proposals, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiativesBuild detailed, scalable forecasting models for the countryOwn visibility into actuals: analysis, reporting, and insights for leadershipPartner with business leaders to create annual plans, forecasts, and business casesIdentify, recommend, and track optimization opportunitiesDevelop tools and reporting to automate and scale revenue and expense managementDrive ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects Our humble expectations 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a related fieldStrong track record building financial models, managing budgets and forecastsHighly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets; bonus for Looker, Power BI (Power Query) skillsStrong analytical skills; able to move between the big picture and drill into the detailsProven experience partnering cross-functionally with business leadersOwnership mindset and ability to work independentlyExperience in high-growth, fast-paced environments preferredExcellent communication and presentation skillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field If you're interested in this position and meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply today!
