This role will be responsible for developing and driving sales strategies, managing key government and defense accounts, and ensuring sustainable growth for Rolls-Royce in the land-based defense sector.At Rolls-Royce, we **look beyond tomorrow**. We continually pioneer integrated power and propulsion solutions to deliver cleaner, safer and more competitive power.**Key Accountabilities*** Develop and execute **sales strategies** for the land-based defense sector in Korea, ensuring alignment with Rolls-Royce’s global objectives.* Lead **business development efforts**, identifying new opportunities within the government and defense sectors.* Manage and strengthen **relationships with key government agencies, military organizations, and defense contractors** to drive long-term partnerships.* Oversee and manage **tenders, bids, and contract negotiations**, ensuring compliance with government procurement processes.* Collaborate with internal teams including **engineering, commercial, and legal** to drive successful sales outcomes.* Monitor and analyze **market trends, government policies, and defense procurement regulations** to identify risks and opportunities.* Represent Rolls-Royce at **government meetings, defense expos, and industry events**, positioning the company as a key defense solutions provider.* Ensure adherence to **export control regulations, compliance policies, and corporate governance**.**Qualifications*** **Bachelor’s degree or higher** in Business, Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related field.* Minimum **8-10 years of experience** in **government sales, defense contracting, or business development** within the defense industry.* Strong **understanding of Korea’s defense procurement processes, government tenders, and military acquisition programs**.* **Proven track record in managing government accounts** and securing defense-related contracts.* **Experience serving in the military or an extensive network within military and defense circles** is highly preferred.* Excellent **negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management** skills.* Ability to **analyze complex defense requirements** and translate them into business opportunities.* Experience in **working with government bodies, military institutions, and defense contractors** is highly preferred.* Fluency in Korean and English is required for effective communication with local government agencies, military stakeholders, and international counterparts.
