For our headquarters in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

Manager (m/f/x) Consolidation

Purpose of the function

• Lead and execute consolidation activities and support Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Product Costing, and Cost Controlling within the regional scope of Global Business Services (GBS).
• Coordinate and stabilize the new organizational setup and end-to-end processes of the GBS European Service Center (GBS ESC), collaborating closely with service line teams to ensure comprehensive interface coverage.

Personal Skills and Professional Experience

• Several years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, and Group Consolidation; consulting or audit experience is a plus
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field with focus on Finance, Controlling & Accounting, or relevant professional certification; additional certifications like CMA are a plus
• A few years of international experience in a global, cross-cultural environment with significant stakeholder management and subject matter expertise.
• Experience working in agile, complex, data-driven environments, preferably within GBS or Shared Services structures
• Strong project and process management skills with a track record of managing larger operational projects in Group or Management Accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of Finance, Controlling, Accounting, IFRS, and proficiency in SAP FI/CO, SAP Group Reporting, SEM BCS, MS Office; additional skills in data analytics tools are a plus
• Fluent in English and German with excellent communication, intercultural, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Analytical, result-oriented mindset with high customer centricity, strong Business Partner mentality, and ability to manage conflicts in dynamic international environments; pharma business knowledge is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute consolidation processes and related activities within GBS ESC
• Prepare, create, and review sub-group financial statements in accordance with IFRS using SAP Group Reporting
• Support the regional GBS R2R team in analyzing, validating, and updating data in SAP Group Reporting
• Coordinate quarterly and yearly IFRS reporting to the global group in Japan and the Center of Excellence
• Serve as main operational contact for stakeholders regarding regional consolidation, financial statements, and audit support
• Ensure accurate validation, reconciliation, and timely delivery of financial statements and reports within the regional GBS scope
• Lead continuous process improvements, mentor junior colleagues, and manage or contribute to projects optimizing accounting activities and GBS ESC development
