Manager / Senior Manager – M&A & Corporate Advisory

Overview

Our client is a global independent advisory platform with several thousand professionals worldwide and a strong presence across Europe, North America, and Asia. The firm advises corporates, private equity sponsors, lenders, and institutional clients on complex M&A and corporate finance transactions, with a particularly strong reputation in the German mid-market.

Driven by sustained deal flow and continued expansion of its DACH franchise, the firm is strengthening its M&A & Corporate Advisory team in Frankfurt and is seeking to appoint professionals at Manager / Senior Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates across a range of sectors, with a focus on mid-market transactions
• Manage end-to-end transaction processes including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence coordination, and preparation of client deliverables
• Act as day-to-day client contact, coordinating internal teams and external advisors (legal, tax, commercial)
• Support business development through pitch preparation, market analysis, and relationship building with corporates and financial sponsors
• Oversee, coach, and review the work of Analysts and Associates
• Contribute to the continued development of the firm’s M&A platform in Germany and across Europe

Candidate Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction advisory
• Strong technical skill set across financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution
• Track record advising corporates and/or private equity clients on M&A transactions
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams and manage deal teams independently
• Strong academic background with excellent communication skills
• Fluent German and English required
