Manager / Senior Manager – Private Equity Value Creation - Tier 1 Strategy Consutling firm

The Role

• Lead end‑to‑end workstreams on value creation projects for PE‑backed portfolio companies — from commercial diagnostics and growth strategy to implementation and exit readiness.
• Translate investment theses into actionable value creation plans, define performance KPIs, and deliver measurable impact in collaboration with senior client stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor high‑performing teams, ensuring structured problem solving, compelling storylines, and impactful client communications.
• Partner with senior leadership to scale and diversify the Private Equity Value Creation offering in the DACH region, contributing to a rapidly growing strategic focus area.
• Collaborate across practices to bring integrated, cross‑functional expertise to complex investor challenges.

What You’ll Work On

• Rapid value creation assessments and full‑potential plans post‑deal, covering growth acceleration, pricing optimization, cost efficiency, and working‑capital levers.
• Design and delivery of operational improvement and profitability programs across sectors such as industrials, automotive, transport, and business services.
• Development of board‑level materials that synthesize strategic options, investment impact, and execution roadmaps.
• Exit preparation, including equity storylines, KPI frameworks, and data‑driven performance narratives for potential buyers.

What You Bring

• 5-10 experience in a leading strategy consultancy, transaction advisory, or private equity value creation environment.
• Proven leadership in managing project modules or full projects, with responsibility for team guidance and client engagement.
• Strong analytical and conceptual problem‑solving skills, combined with the ability to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations.
• Excellent academic credentials and fluency in English; and German for work across the DACH region.
