My client a leading FTTX subcontractor is looking to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager / Strategic Relationships / Partner Manager for a permanent position based in Dusseldorf , Germany.

The right candidate will be hard working, ambitious and naturally solve problems and build meaningful relationships with people working for network operators and local councils, that will ultimately help my client to continue delivering world class services with customer service and satisfaction at the forefront.

About the job

• In this key role, you will actively shape the expansion of modern infrastructure and serve as a liaison between the general contractor, local governments, and business partners.
• As the primary point of contact for local governments, you will drive projects forward with foresight, strong communication skills, and a keen sense of diverse interests. We are looking for someone who proactively engages with stakeholders, presents complex topics in a structured manner, and builds trust through a personable demeanour.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting FTTX rollout projects throughout their entire lifecycle
• Establishing, maintaining, and further developing robust relationships with municipalities, authorities, and strategic partners
• Managing communication and coordination with all relevant municipal and partner stakeholders
• Preparing, leading, and documenting initial coordination meetings and discussions with municipalities
• Identifying risks and developing appropriate measures for conflict prevention and resolution
• Coordinating and tracking applications, permits, approvals, and renewals
• Managing external service providers and assisting with the selection, onboarding, and collaboration with subcontractors and partners
• Contributing to the optimization of internal processes, particularly in CRM, documentation, and reporting
• Preparation of presentations and documents for municipalities, partners, and internal stakeholders

Likely Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Several years of professional experience in municipal or stakeholder management (or a comparable interface role)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Fluent in German and English, Spanish, Portuguese or Greek would also be advantageous
