Responsibilities
- Support clients at federal, state and municipal levels in digital transformation, leading projects in IT strategy, cloud and digital sovereignty from concept to realization.
- Develop sustainable and modern IT strategies and architectures for public sector clients.
- Define and design transformation projects, migration and implementation concepts considering the special requirements of digital sovereignty.
- Shape the technical and organisational framework for secure and high‑performance digital services for public administration.
- Assess digital sovereignty maturity levels of agencies or public‑sector companies.
- Develop innovative solution concepts and products to drive new impulses in public‑sector IT.
- Take responsibility as (part‑) project manager and lead project teams.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Master) in Science, Business Administration or a comparable field.
- Several years experience as business or solution consultant, project manager or manager, ideally in consulting or public sector with focus on IT strategy and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of current technologies (cloud, AI, low‑code) and good sense of market and technology trends and developments in public administration.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with common frameworks (PRINCE2, SAFe) desirable.
- Empathy, open, clear and understanding communication style and confident, respectful presence.
- Solution‑oriented, creative, strategic foresight and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Secure use of MS Office and groupware tools; excellent written and spoken German.
- Good English skills desirable.
- Additional certifications such as TOGAF, ISAQB, ITIL, COBIT welcomed.
