Manual QA Engineer

About the role

ClearScale is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to support the further development of our existing web-based product. You will join a dynamic engineering team, focusing on enhancing and ensuring the quality of our customer-facing application. Your expertise in manual testing will be crucial in maintaining and improving the application's performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team of QA engineers to execute and update existing test suites
• Progression testing of recently delivered features is mixed with regression testing and support of existing functionality
• Taking part in pre development reviews and give a feedback on upcoming functionality
• Communicate with the client on project-related issues

Requirements:

ClearScale expects successful candidate to have most of the following qualifications and skills (not necessary all have to be presented):

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manual testing of web-based applications, with a solid understanding of web technologies and standards.
Skills: Proficient in creating and executing test plans and test cases; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Tools: Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar; familiarity with browser developer tools.
Knowledge: Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic SQL queries.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Hands-on experience or theoretical background in AWS would be a plus

Nice to have:

Background in medical services domain
Solid understanding of CI/CD paradigm
Hands on C# coding skills
