Manufacturing Sciences & Technology Business Partner (m/f/d) Operational Unit Nutrition

Fresenius Kabi has recently undergone a transformation with a focus on excellence in technical operations and the establishment of a global Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join this pioneering team, which will have members in all our major hubs around the globe.

We will create a competitive advantage through ensuring new product launches are technically sound right first time and we constantly innovate and improve our products alongside their lifecycle. We will establish MS&T Business Partners for IV fluids (Friedberg, Germany), Pharma (Gurgaon, India and Graz, Austria), US products (Melrose Park, US) and Nutrition (Uppsala, Sweden).

This position can either be filled in Uppsala, Sweden or Bad Homburg, Germany.

Your Tasks

• Ensure CMC development, scale-up and launches are executed on a rigorous and reliable pathway by ensuring smooth interfaces between all associated functions.
• Provide data-driven insights to analyze and change manufacturing processes, unlock opportunities for optimization, reliability and efficiency.
• Be a recognized thought leader, leveraging your in-depth knowledge to guide the launch, transfer, and lifecycle management of clinical nutrition products.
• Standardize processes, align technologies, de-risk and optimize material usage globally. Enhance consistency and integration across production sites.
• Build meaningful cross-functional relationships, foster alignment, drive progress. Actively share knowledge, keeping the global teams interconnected, informed, and empowered to achieve collective success.
• Lead a team of direct reports and associated project members. Set clear goals and vision in accordance with the overall vision and mission of MS&T as well as the associated business and operational units. Develop individuals based on strengths. Coordinate resource allocation (people, costs, investments).

Your Profile

• Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in enteral and parenteral nutrition manufacturing and quality control processes as well as emulsion technologies plus formulation/stability of complex mixtures.
• Educational Background: Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, science, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience - that demonstrates readiness to lead at a global scale.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing injectable, sterile fluids and quality control processes as well as formulation/stability of complex mixtures as well as packaging formats, scale-up and transfers and related QC methods.
• Global Perspective: Demonstrated success collaborating in multi-cultural, globally distributed teams, coupled with adaptability and strategic alignment to diverse regional priorities.
• Regulatory Mastery: Advanced knowledge of GMP and ISO standards with a track record of ensuring compliance while driving process innovation.
• Leadership in Transformation: History of leading transformative projects in MS&T, showcasing ability to build and inspire high-performing teams while driving organizational change.
• Advanced Communication Skills: Fluency in English at an advanced level; additional language skills such as German, Spanish, Portuguese, or Hindi are a plus for navigating major international sites.
• Interpersonal and Strategic Skills: Exceptional ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders, and lead by example with sound decision-making and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
