Marine Insurance Broker - Hamburg

A leading marine insurance broker in Germany is seeking a Marine Insurance Broker with 1+ years of experience in the shipping industry to join their office in Hamburg. The ideal candidate should possess a general understanding of the marine sector and must have a C1 / C2 level of proficiency in English and / or German.

In this role, you will be responsible for contract renewals, liaising and negotiating with insurance companies and underwriters, servicing the company’s existing client portfolios, and preparing statistics and presentations.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mathematics and those who have completed studies in business administration, economics, or shipping law (or have completed an apprenticeship in shipping). The company offers flexible working arrangements (two days of remote work), company events, and ongoing training.
