Market Segment Manager - Automotive

Overview

A world renowned name in Test & Measurement Systems. Covering a whole host of sectors such as broadcast, mobile comms, military & Aerospace and automotive. A fantastic opportunity to lead and strategise! Working predominantly on the automotive sector as this is considered a key area of growth. With a growing test systems portfolio and customer base, we are looking for the very best talent to lead and support the global business in the automotive sector. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in formulating and driving forward a strategy to achieve ambitious revenue growth objectives. The successful candidate will have a exceptional knowledge of the automotive sector, in particular antenna measurements covering various technologies and sub systems. A deep understanding of the automotive supply chain is also a must in this complex and stimulating position. You must have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting and discussing our various test systems and test equipment solutions, and working as part of a busy global marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the strategy for FV Antenna Testing
• Managing the roll out of agreed strategies
• Leading a network of automotive specialist
• Collating and delivering market knowledge of full vehicle antenna testing
• Presenting various solutions for automotive test systems with a particular focus on OTA
• Delivering white papers on automotive technologies and system solutions
• Establishing a network of key players in the automotive sector and supporting them in their OTA activities

The Person

• Degree qualified in a technical subject (electrical or electronic)
• Experience in antenna development
• An experienced product manager
• In depth knowledge of the automotive sector
• A fantastic presenter
• Wonderful communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written English
• German language would be beneficial but not essential.
• Expected to travel globally 50% of the time
