We are looking for a Marketing Data Consultant (x|f|m) for the Digital Marketing Bioprocess Solutions Division (BPS) at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will act as the key expert for marketing data, working closely with Marketing and IT to develop the marketing data architecture, define data models and implement solution designs in marketing and analytics platforms, such as customer data platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data architecture, define data models, implement and maintain them in marketing and analytics platforms.
- Lead marketing data for global projects, e.g., rollout of a customer data platform or marketing automation platform.
- Support marketing teams in requirements engineering and use case definitions.
- Ensure marketing data modelling and implementation is actionable and drives business value across applications.
- Own marketing data documentation, develop trainings and foster a data‑driven mindset.
- Liaise with other departments (Sales, Product Management) to ensure all relevant data sources are included and benefits shared across business processes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams in Sartorius divisions and IT to achieve objectives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience.
- Proven experience in data architecture, data modelling and data engineering.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud or Adobe RTCDP) is a must.
- Data & Analytics expertise: Snowflake, Tableau, Azure, Databricks, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Excellent SQL skills; Python is beneficial.
- Deep understanding of data‑driven marketing concepts, including customer segmentation, journey mapping, identity resolution and lead generation.
- Experience with Marketing and Sales platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, Marketing Cloud) highly appreciated.
- Excellent communicator and presenter, able to explain complex topics in simple terms.
- Industry experience in B2B life sciences or complex products with long sales cycles; B2C experience a plus.
- Business‑fluent English; German a plus.
