We are looking forMarketing & PR Manager (all genders) for our team!

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive marketing and PR strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Plan and coordinate exhibitions and trade shows, including logistical arrangements, booth layout, personnel management, and liaising with vendors and agencies.
• Manage relationships with service providers such as booth builders, press agencies, and marketing firms, ensuring quality delivery of services.
• Oversee translation and proofreading of marketing materials between German and English.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Sales teams to develop effective marketing tools tailored for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Create and execute an annual marketing plan specifically focused on Energy Storage Systems (ESS) products.
• Generate compelling content for ESS customers, enabling them to effectively promote A123's ESS offerings.
• Organize and execute client events to foster relationships and promote brand awareness.
• Curate and manage content for official social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the target audience.
• Implement strategies to enhance A123 brand awareness and perception within the European market.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing and public relations roles, preferably within the technology or manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to negotiate with external organizations.
• Demonstrated creativity and proactive attitude in previous roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fundamental understanding of core technology and its benefits, with the ability to identify unique selling points.
• Ability to think and act creatively to develop innovative marketing strategies.
• Thrives in a start-up culture with minimal or developing policies and procedures.
• Confident in sharing opinions with all levels of management.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English languages
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe software suites for effective marketing material creation and management.
